About SWI

Steven Willand Inc. began in 1966 as a family owned retail Lawn & Garden dealer selling and servicing the lawn & garden needs in the Fairfield, NJ area. Two years later, SWI moved into wholesale distribution and continued to grow. In 1986 Steven Willand Inc moved into its current location location in Augusta, New Jersey.

About the President

Scott Willand graduated from Lycoming College in 1980 with a bachelors degree in accounting. Shortly after graduation he joined Steven Willand Inc in the collections department. Scott became President of SWI in 1994. Throughout his time as president, Scott has served on numerous distributor councils such as RedMax and Schiller Brands as well as Jacobsen’s dealer council. In his free time Scott enjoys golfing as well as keeping his lawn in order with his original 1986 36” walk-behind Bobcat mower.

Today, SWI is proud to distribute RedMax Commercial Power Equipment, Classen Turf Renovation Equipment, Greenworks Commercial Battery Powered Equipment, Little Wonder Debris Management and Turf Renovation products, Mantis Home and Garden products.

About the Vice President

Steffen Willand

Steffen Willand is the third-generation of Steven Willand Inc. With his grandfather starting the business in 1966, Steffen is thrilled to be carrying on the family legacy.
Steffen has a keen interest in the evolution of outdoor power equipment over the years and is always fascinated to see how it’s changing. Not only does he appreciate the products SWI sells, but he also uses them on his own property, thanks to the quality of the equipment.

When Steffen isn’t busy at work, he can be found indulging in his passion for music. Whether it’s attending concerts or collecting records, music has always been an important part of his life. He also enjoys working on home improvement projects with wife Lauren and their pup Penny.

Terry Robison

Terry Robison has been in the outdoor power equipment for many years with vast amounts of knowledge. In Terry’s free time, he grows vegetables and raises farm animals with the help of his vintage tractor collection.

Art Stone

Art Stone has been part of the SWI team since 1982. Throughout his years at SWI Art has achieved many individual awards for sales and excellence. When Art isn’t on the road, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three kids and grandchildren as well as traveling and playing poker. “ This is a relationship business, when a dealer thanks you for the efforts it means everything to me. Dave Willis

Dave Willis is a Field Sales Manager for the New England Region. Dave lives for power equipment as he has many years of experience working at Agway, Crandall-Hicks Company (Boston Lawnmower) and Husqvarna. Dave resides in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts with his wife Lucille of over 40 years. Dave enjoys his family, Cape Cod, boating and everything Boston sports.

Kevin Ranagan

Kevin joined SWI in 2015, and brings fifteen + years of OPEI experience with him. A Long Island kid, Kevin grew up in Huntington and has covered Long Island and NYC in several sales areas over the past 30 years. When not helping dealers and end-users, Kevin and his wife enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. Kevin also indulges in playing golf, traveling the USA and watching baseball.

Stewart Markowitz

Stewart is a veteran of the outdoor power equipment industry with over twenty years of experience in the field. He is knowledgeable and provides top insight to his Mid-Atlantic sales-team as well as the vast customer base he travels throughout. Stewart is our internal Bobcat specialist as there are few questions that can stump him.

Jeff Deckman

Jeff joined the SWI Sales Team in September 2019 and brings 10+ years of Sales Experience from both the Consumer Electronics and Outdoor Power Equipment fields. He started his Outdoor Power Equipment experience in Engine and Parts Sales. When he is not out building relationships with his customers he is at home spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors.
