Steven Willard Inc. proudly distributes Power Trim Edgers, who specialize in gasoline powered lawn edgers. These machines are used to create clean, distinct delineations between a lawn and the surrounding surfaces, such as walkways and paths. They are considered an essential tool for giving any lawn a sharp, professional appearance.

Power Trim Edgers began as a small home business back in the 1950s. Compton, California homeowner Roy Dykes and his son Jim started welding together lawn edgers in their garage to make some extra money. They would take the homemade devices to area lawn & garden and hardware stores and convince them to offer them to their customers. Before long, the Dykes’ machine was a hit. Customers were thrilled with the precise, aesthetically pleasing edges they were able create on their lawns using the device. Demand increased dramatically and Rob and Jim devoted themselves to Power Trim Edgers full time.

Believing that it’s best to do one thing and do it right, Power Trim Edgers still only makes edgers and nothing else. Steven Willand Inc. currently distributes Power Trim Edgers?lineup consists of six models: the 150, 200, 200-4, 200-8, 300-H, and 308-H.

Two different engines are employed depending on model, a 127CC Briggs & Stratton and a 118CC OHV-GX Honda unit. The largest difference between the various models is size and number of wheels. Most other parts are interchangeable between models, which makes repairs and service simple and easy. The frame of each edger is constructed from heavy-gauge steel tubing and utilizes full arc welds for superior strength and durability.
